The Des Moines playhouse sponsored a luncheon with Bill Bryson, author of "The Thunderbolt Kid" a few weeks ago. It was a nice time to meet Mr. Bryson and spark interest in the upcoming world stage play premier of this great book. Book your tickets now for the show in June it will be great! By the way, I did get an autographed place mat as well.
